Do Away With Prejudice To Succeed!

Let everyone know about your Network Marketing Opportunity and never prejudge your prospect. There have been plenty of people that have gone from the loss of their job through redundancy or retrenchment especially here in our country Zambia with no source of income. Other have lost jobs due to foreclosure or there companies are facing foreclosure or bankruptcy, to financial success in this business.

Before 2008 a lot of people that had plans and hopes of retiring, but the credit crunch affected all of us and now in 2011 more and more people have lost their life savings and have little or no hope of retiring. Many have become slaves to the clock. They are married to their J.O.B.
May be you are distributor who joined network marketing with a hope to secure you financial freedom and you are struggling. No matter who you are we are guilty of being prejudiced in one way or another, and it is that prejudice that is slowing you down or may be keeping you from achieving success in a Network Marketing Opportunity.

You might have decided your family members, friends and workmates are not interested in your Network Marketing Opportunity without asking them.
Maybe, it is that successful friend of yours or just the person you know to be success who you believe is not interested in another source of income.

You assume that because someone has not lost their J.O.B or employment benefits or that their circumstances haven’t changed so they are not interested.
You look at prospects and do not believe the opportunity would be right for them, because you do not believe they can come up with the funds to get started.

Inviting Versus Attraction Marketing

I am a student of attraction marketing in the realm of network marketing but I also mix it with invitation to my warm list that is the people I know. I use the lead generating tactics as taught in Magnetic Sponsoring to capture both the cold list.

Above all, Magnetic Sponsoring teaches laser targeted sponsoring by focusing on network marketers. That is the huge difference. However, there are those that still use the word-of mouth and these are the ones I am writing about. How well you do at inviting will greatly depend on the growth of your communication skills.
Most people have difficulty with communication. I did! However, the more I study it, the more I realize that communication is what makes or breaks us in life. It's your ability to woo your significant other. It's your ability to get a job, get a raise, get a promotion, get along with others in the office.

The signs on the road are the City communicating with us, giving us driving instructions. Whether written or verbal, communication is life. Don't most conflicts stem from miscommunications? Ever hear "You don't understand me?" It's definitely a skill worthy of much research and study.

I have heard my prospects say "I don't like sales?" Often when your network marketing prospects don't think they're good at communication they'll use the phrase, "I don't like sales" or "I'm not a sales person." This I have heard so often. In your business, take the approach that you're starting your own company. You need a board of directors. In MLM we call them leaders. I call them Alphas!

The most important thing for you to understand at this point is you don't necessarily have to know these people. You probably won't. You may personally find these leaders or someone in your organization could lead you to them.

What character traits do you want in your network marketing your Alphas? What character traits do your leaders want in you? Why is this important for inviting? Well, your greatest asset will become your eagle eye at picking Alphas that will contribute to the success of your organization.

Here is a list of character traits you do want in your Alphas...
Postive Talk - Positive thought and positive talk are integral to thinking and functioning as a leader. An Alpha must learn to face head-on their fears about competition, their abilities, and the abilities of their team or group.
Only then can they begin to win and to raise the quality of their team's work to a higher level. Just like the coach of a footbal-winning team, you've got to visualize yourself winning. Visualizing the win will help you to take the right actions to achieve the outcome you want.

Become a Mourinho (Former Chelsea FC Coach) who has a winning mentality because he knows how to get the best out of his players.
  • high self esteem
  • goal driven
  • ready to act now
  • Decisive
  • mentally tough
However, you do not want traits like the ones below in your prospects:
  • Passive
  • wishy-washy
  • employee mentality
  • not ready to act
  • easily influenced by others
  • worries about what others think
And to prospects who say “ I know nothing about sales” I say sales has nothing to do with it. In fact when you picture a sales person, what you are picturing is a poor communicator. When you have been sold, you knew it. You felt it. When you are in the presence of a really good communicator you may have bought something, but you were never sold anything.

A good communicator will never sell what his prospect won't buy. There's no way they could get there. A good communicator, whether a nurse or a networker listens and helps people get what they want. That is Marketing! That's all. A nurse has to learn the appropriate questions to ask so he/she can find exactly what the needs of the patient are. The nurse must also learn the appropriate responses to the standard questions and concerns the patient has.

A networker also must learn the needed questions and the appropriate responses to common objections so they can help their MLM business prospects get what they want. I've heard distributors invite people to look at an MLM business opportunity much like this: "My company does this, I'm making x amount of money, my company has this, and I have this, etc..." Learning how to properly invite prospects to look at your MLM business and truly network with people is not always easy, but can be profitable for you. I commend your willingness to study it.

Attraction Marketing – How Can It Explode Your Business

Helping others to grow by imparting the information and directing them to useful systems brings out the true leader in you.

In other words, providing a simple one page website which includes free information, video tutorials, ebooks etc and also sharing the owner’s contact information such as the email, phone number, name etc to make others aware of who you are and what you want to market.
3) Autoresponder – An email service that enables you to set up a campaign and target it to people by providing valuable details that educate them, and also helps you to invite or either sell your product. It’s just like generating an auto pilot for you. The campaigning content should have all that the targeted audience need to know of the service.
4) Bio Page - Now this is a basic thing which helps other people to get to know more about you. It should be understood that basically people join people and not the products or the services. It’s through you, others get to know the program. Various social media’s such as Facebook, blogs or either posting related videos on you tube are a great way to build a relation with the prospects.
5) The Funded proposal is another great tool for attraction marketing. It can be said as a form of training or course program which you pay for small price by way of which your business could earn some cash and at the same time educating the masses. It could also be stated as an art of offering a low priced information product that is targeted to your niche and provides value to the prospects.
6) Primary business opportunity or product/ service: This is something where the long term money is at stake. They are available in various price points which provides the high margin commissions, recurring income, passive income etc. Your list could be further monetized by building either one or more of those valuable products.
7) Affiliate Marketing:  This is where, you can offer the additional valuable products and services in your target niche by some simple email reviews or recommendations to your list. Low priced info products, high priced seminars, courses etc are few of the attributes of this affiliate marketing.
The above said are some of the productive tools required for attraction marketing.  The mechanics and the sources regarding this varies but are simple. Particularly when it comes to home based businesses or network marketing, these facts are truly simple provided they are applied in the right manner.
The thing is quite simple. You take a simple message and communicating it with the masses. You and your sales will reach its heights if  your marketing is more targeted by increasing your sales cycle.
Consider a simple message:
“Would you like to learn how to use the internet to earn money from home”?  People could answer either yes or no! If the answer is yes, you could take them to the lead capture page which offers them the free information in a step by step format of how to use the internet to make money at home.
Now how could you share that message:-
1) Paid Target Advertising:  There are several methods that are fast enough, enabling you to share the message. One such productive form is the Paid Target Advertising. People who are on the look out for this kind of information will be always attracted to advertising related to this matter. There are various sources of effective advertising. Do You Work For Your Boss or Your Family?

Here is a sad story:
Right now there are hundreds of thousands of people who earn hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, and they never even get to see their kids awake! This is called ‘Heads in Beds’. They see their kids asleep when they get up early for work, and see them asleep again when they get back late. They have the money, but no time to even spend it.

There are even more people who have plenty of time, but have no money whatsoever. Free time is great, unless you are penniless.
The ideal situation is to have as much money as the high-paid people, and as much free time as the unemployed people. Would you agree that’s the ideal balance we all dream of? You would be free to do what you want, when you want, and no boss could ever tell you what to do again.
When you go to work, it’s not your boss you’re working for. The reason you’re there is for your family. If you were going to get paid anyway, regardless of whether you turned up for work or not, would you honestly go?
Nobody would!
If you got paid whether you worked or not you could take your family on vacations, and not worry about how long your boss is letting you go for. It’s rather ridiculous isn’t it? You go on vacation to spend time with your family, but only for as long as your boss says you can…
It’s just like being back in school. You’re only allowed out to play when the teacher says, and you run back in when the bell goes, to get back to work.
It’s time to remember who you really work for.
Your boss or your family?
Are you working for your spouse and kids, so they can enjoy their lives, live in a nice home, go on nice vacations, drive a nice car, eat nice food, wear nice clothes. You’re working for THEM, right?
Don’t get me wrong, you may love your job. And that’s fine. Love your job until you can love it no more.
At the end of the day though, it’s not about HOW you provide all those things is it? If you could get the money in a way that offered more flexibility, freedom, and less hours, would you take it?

To Be Financially Free...There Is No Need To Win A Lottery!

What do the following things all have in common:
* Winning the lottery
* Earning millions of dollars through your career
* Inheriting a family fortune
* Recording a hit song
* Writing a bestselling book
* Creating residual income through network marketing

There may be a few similarities, but the one we’re looking at is that they can all provide you with ongoing income that you won’t have to continuously work for, day after day. You could take the money an run, so to speak!

Be Your Own Boss! It's About Freedom

Do you know that the biggest reason many individuals have for starting up their own business? It Is Not the want for more income and It Is Not because they can set their own working hours.
FACT: Most individuals will answer such questions by saying they want to be their own boss. It is all about the freedom. The freedom to work when they choose to do so, the freedom of working on what they want to work on, without someone peeking over their shoulder to make sure deadlines are kept and hours worked are productive. They start their own business to cut the chains that bind them to a desk.
Whether you work in a brick and mortar business building or you work from home using your computer, you can set the rules. This is what it is all about. When you work for yourself you can be your own boss and get to MAKE the rules, you are no longer subjected to FOLLOWING the rules of some other slave driver. You are no longer a slave to the clock. You sleep until your sleep is finished.

Not too long ago, to be your own boss and work for your self was a bit more risky than it is today. Anyone who wanted to start a business had to make a big investment. Some were even forced to put their house on the line to receive a loan to get them started. Such as it was, it was terribly risky. Many people simply quit their jobs with no sense of a safety net to uphold them. They simply marched forward with a deep seeded hope for success in their hearts and minds.
Fortunately, for all of us, the business world we live in is much brighter. Today, you can be your own boss and work from home using your spare time and still stay with your full-time job, while you build your business. The entry into the world of business is much more accessible for everyone, since the risk is just a few hundred dollars.
To be your own boss and go into business for your self has never been better, since network marketing is spreading far and wide. It is practical and feasible to become successful. You can wake up each morning when YOU want to wake up. You are no longer tethered by your alarm clock. Imagine getting an extra paycheck every month, one you do not have to rush out and spend on food, shelter and bills.
WARNING: To be your own boss also carries some challenges.

Since no one will be peeking over your shoulder to see that you are taking care of business, you will need to do this for yourself. Do you have what it takes to keep yourself focused on any task you need to complete, if someone is not there watching over you?
This type of dedication and commitment is rare. If you do have what it takes, I highly recommend that you consider your options in the field of Network Marketing. You may even surprise yourself with your own success.

MLM Success Stories - How to Become One

Maybe you are here because you are looking for inspiration and/or motivational for your MLM career. Maybe you have just started or you have been in for a while and have yet to make it to where you want to be. You see the dream, the potential, the possibilities but just aren't sure how to get there yourself so you are here, looking for other people's MLM success stories to get a glimpse of what they did to get to where they are. Or maybe you're looking to regain hope that you will truly get there yourself one day.
I am here to tell you that you can get there. The problem with other people's MLM success stories though, is that they usually fail to tell you what they REALLY did to get to the top. They leave out the part where they struggled, faced TONS of rejection, put in tons of hours, and what exactly they did to finally get the results they needed.
I know a lot of companies like to show case their reps that jump into their company and within 6 months they are in the top 2% of the leadership levels. The problem with this is that it gives people the wrong impression. Almost every single one of those people were in a business prior to the one they flew to the top in. They already shed the blood, sweat, and tears and built a solid list. They already knew what they were doing when it comes to marketing and how to talk to people effectively.
Rarely, do you find someone who jumps into a company with no prior business or MLM experience and make it to the top within a short amount of time.
The reality of the matter is that 95% of Network Marketers fail to have success for using a couple of reasons.
#1. They don't have a solid plan that included marketing
#2. They market their companies instead of themselves. (People do business with people and not companies) Meaning they rush out to "share" with people about how great XYZ is and run people off because they feel like they are being sold, even if the excited MLMer is just trying to share.
#3. They don't know how to generate their own leads (an extension of #1)
#4. They give up when it gets hard or if it takes longer than 6 months.
Truth is, it takes time. You can easily reach $200-$500 in the first 3 months or so but if you are looking for $10,000+ it would probably take at least a year unless fix the problems listed above.
So how do you do that? How can you become one of the many MLM success stories? How do you get a plan that works, learn how to market the right way, talk to prospects effectively, market yourself as a leader (even if your new you can, guaranteed), learn how to generate your own leads, and do it all quick enough to get money in your pocket in a timely manner?
Believe it or not, it sounds like a lot but it really isn't. They all tie together and can easily and quickly be learned and put into motion. All you need is an MLM recruiting system. Focus On The Reasons Why You Can Succeed!

I was just listening to a successful business leader and he said something very powerful that I wanted to share.  He was talking about not making excuses!  People who win big don't spend all their time making excuses!

All of us can find plenty of reasons why we can't do something.  And if we focus on those reasons it will keep us from moving forward.  He said that there may be 300 reasons why you can't do something.  But if you look for that one good reason why you can do it and then you FOCUS ON IT, you can do very well!

I thought that was powerful.  This applies to anything that we want to do in life.  When we are faced with a challenge or something that we want to do, we can either choose to focus on all the reasons why we can't succeed or we can choose to focus on the reason that we can succeed! 

Let's find that one good reason and focus on it!

Self-Education

So how important is self-education?  It doesn't matter the field.  The more someone is willing to continue to grow personally and learn everything they can, the more successful they will be.  I've heard it said that the more you learn, the more you earn!

Self education and personal development is so important in my opinion.  I just heard this quote that pretty much says it all:

"A formal education will make you a living.  Self-education will make you a fortune!"

Formal education is important but don't stop there.  Continue to learn everything you can.  I believe this is a key to success with all top performers.

So what are the revenue generating activities? They are the activities that actually bring new distributors and new customers in to your business. This is what we get paid to do! This is the "work" part of our business! There are a lot of good things that we need to do like listening to phone calls or going to training meetings. These things help teach us and build our belief which is important but they are not revenue generating activities. You can actually build a very solid business that can replace your job income and you can do it working part-time (20 hours or less a week) but you have to really "work." You have to focus on the activities that actually pay you!
So stay focused on things like Meeting People, Inviting People, Giving (or Getting People to) Presentations, Follow Up and Getting New People Started. If you do that, YOU WILL MAKE MONEY! Does it take work? Of course it does! Does it require you to learn some new skills? Probably so! But is it worth it? YES IT IS!!! No matter if you are brand new and just getting started or if you have been involved for a long time, you can succeed! Decide today to focus on the right activities that pay you and you will be one of those "lucky" people who makes money in this great profession.

How to Make 100,000 in Network Marketing

People are attracted to network marketing for the promise of a new life. A new level of income…A chance to make a change, yet few people ever make that change. The failure rate in network marketing is over 90%. Why is this so when so many people come to the industry with good intentions?

The answer is simple, really. The people who make a hundred thousand dollars or more in network marketing follow and teach three simple principles that hold true no matter the company, no matter the compensation plan, no matter the product.

The three key principles are

1) Autoship
2) Know the compensation plan
3) Practice and teach a duplicable system

What is autoship? Autoship is simply your agreement to receive a certain product or service that is of value to you in exhange for a monthly fee. If you have bills you are participating in someone’s autoship program. Every utility and most banks practice autoship. You will accrue some advantage through autoship whether that advantage is a lower price for a product or the waiver of monthly activation fees. In the case of your cell phone service, for instance, you are avoiding a new activation fee each month by subscribing to a cell phone plan and paying for the service monthly. Your cell phone carrier can predict their monthly revenues based on the number of subscribers they have, indeed, their monthly subscribers constitute a large portion of the value of your cell phone carrier’s business. You have the advantage of knowing that your cell phone service is available on an ongoing basis as you need it. Another example is a bi-saver mortgage payment plan. If you are participating in a bi-saver mortgage program you are agreeing to regular bi monthly payments in exchange for long term interest savings on your loan. Since you already have your mortgage, what is the product being autoshipped?

Many people object to the autoship feature of network marketing companies they look at as a major disadvantage to joining a company. They see the autoship feature as a negotiable expense. I recently spoke with a couple from another company who had 700 distributors in their downline. They were frustrated because they had no income. Their company did not promote autoship. Neither did they and their income was zero. If Fortune 500 Companies use autoship, why not incorporate that feature into your business?

Distributors who make 100,000 or more in their respective companies promote and use autoship.

Know the compensation plan. What is so special about your compensation plan? The compensation plan was designed for you to make money. Every compensation plan has a series of steps or building blocks that allow you to progress and make more money. Each company usually has starter kits that fit into the compensation plan in such a way that you can maximize the way in which you build your business. Does your potential sponsor tell you to leave business cards in bathrooms and book stores while he actively runs advertising campaigns in the local paper or on line?

Distributors who make 100,000 or more in their respective companies have systems that a new person can tap into out of the gate. 1. Degrees and/or Credential  

Thousands of people have been successful in networking without the benefit of college degrees and such. One of my personal most successful mentors is a high school dropout. Since networking is so unlike other businesses, the rules are different here. It’s quite possible, actually quite common, to build a large successful organization without having any credentials or degrees.

An argument could almost be made against having diplomas in this business, for people may feel that because their sponsor has an advanced business degree — they need one too. This is not duplicatable and entirely unnecessary. If you or your sponsor has a degree, great. It’s just not necessary for success in network marketing.

2. Others Peoples Approval  

Of anyone, except yourself. Sometimes even your spouse may not approve of your network marketing business. This is actually a frequent initial response, but we’ve seen thousands of people who have built huge businesses without the help of their spouse. Of course, after that, the spouse usually comes on board enthusiastically and things really take off.

One of the hardest facts of business to face is that not everybody is ready for success, or is as enlightened as you.

Don’t be at all surprised to find that some of your closest friends and family members will ridicule you; not join your organization and/or even listen to a presentation; question your sanity; ask why someone with a “real” job would “mess around with one of those multi-level deals”; or all of the above. Then they will feel obligated to regale you with horror stories of people who “got a horrible rash just drinking that stuff,” or have “a garage full of that stuff they can’t get rid of.”

3. A Network Of Your Friends And Family  

Now please don’t misunderstand; if you get them in your group, great! I know families with three generations in their networking business and it’s a beautiful thing to behold. Other times, the hardest presentation you ever give might be to a family member or best friend.

Sometimes you just can’t be a prophet in your own hometown. Direct selling is full of individuals who have built networks in the thousands without having a single member of their family, or so-called best friends, in their group. I know, because I’m one of them.

4. Negative Uninformed Advice  

Oftentimes a new distributor will get involved with network marketing and get all kinds of well-meaning advice from friends who have never built a networking business.

If you want to know how to fly airplanes, you must get advice from an expert pilot. If you want to build a network, look at your sponsorship line and find someone who has already built a large network. Those are the people to seek out for advice.

5. Perfection 

The perfect company, product line, or compensation plan hasn’t been invented yet. Like every- thing in nature, it must evolve. Your job is to look at the whole picture — and if the pluses outweigh the minuses — get started.

If you sit around waiting for perfection — you’ll be waiting forever. Don’t make the mistake many novices make which is to think that they can’t do anything until they have tried every single product, read every scrap of literature and completely understood every minute detail of the compensation plan.
